Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This page explains exactly how WTechni content is researched, verified, and maintained. We publish it because trust should be inspectable.
Research standard
Every guide starts with primary sources: official documentation, official pricing pages, changelogs, and product announcements. Every factual claim is verified against at least two independent sources before publication. Where sources conflict, we test directly and describe what we observed.
Dating and freshness
Software, prices, and plans change constantly — so every guide carries its verification date, and time-sensitive facts (prices, plan limits, deadlines) are labeled with an as-of date. Key guides are re-checked on a monthly cycle, and pricing pages are re-swept whenever a provider announces changes. When we update a guide, we change the updated date so the freshness is visible.
Independence
Ratings, comparisons, and recommendations are decided by our editorial process before any monetization is considered. We don't accept payment for reviews, we don't publish sponsored content disguised as guides, and affiliate relationships never influence rankings. If a product is the best free option, we say so even when there's no commission in it for us.
Corrections
Errors happen. When we get something wrong, we fix the guide and note what changed. Material corrections are made visibly — we don't silently rewrite guidance. To report an error, email contact@wtechni.com with the guide URL.
AI-assisted, human-verified
Some drafts are produced with AI assistance for speed, but every published guide is human-reviewed, fact-checked against primary sources, and edited for clarity before it goes live. A guide is only as good as its verification — that's the part we never skip.
